Join Us! We are the Columbus International Program
Membership in the Columbus International Program entitles you to special notification of upcoming CIP events, including; Country Presentations, Social Events and/or Day Trips with our International Professionals as well
as the Spectacular - International Buffet held each fall.
Every dollar contributed to CIP is used to help us further our mission: To Promote International Understanding through Intercultural Exchange.

Volunteering
There is a long tradition of seeing volunteerism as a form of charity, based on altruism and selflessness. The best volunteering does involve the desire to serve others, but this does not exclude other motivations, as well.
You might consider volunteering with CIP because:
- You want to have fun
- You want to learn something new
- You want to meet international professionals
- You want to do something completely different from your usual life
- You want to a part of the globalization of central Ohio
- You want to help change peoples lives
- You are dedicated to the cause of International Understanding Through Intercultural Exchange
CIP is always looking for people with enthusiasm, curiosity, and the desire to learn about other cultures.
There are many ways you can volunteer with CIP:
- You can be a host family for one of our international professionals
- You can roll up your sleeves and work with us at one our events
- You can be a conversation partner to one of our international professionals
- You can help plan and/or host our international professionals at one of our special group activities like going to the zoo, museums, sporting events, etc.
- You can help plan and/or lead our group of international professionals on a trip to Washington D.C., Niagra Falls, Amish Country, Hocking Hills, etc.
- You can be a Board or Committee member
- Help us with our annual membership drive
